Our journey began with first-hand experience. Isabel, our founder, once worked as a virtual assistant and saw the harsh realities of the industry — highly skilled Filipino virtual assistants being undervalued, underpaid, and offered no benefits, all while agencies maximized their profits.
Many agencies overpromised their VAs' capabilities, creating unrealistic expectations for clients, leading to frustration on both ends. At the same time, she also witnessed some virtual assistants failing to do their jobs seriously, taking advantage of clients' trust, and delivering subpar work.
This imbalance – where both VAs and clients suffered – highlighted a major flaw in the system. Isabel knew there had to be a better way.
